This is the follow-up to my search for a high interest savings account posted last monht: High Interest Savings Account Search .

After reviewing some packages from my narrowed search, I have decided to put my extra funds in Achieva Financials High Interest Account, they met all my banking requirements. Below is a break down of fees for their High Interest Account.

• Credit Union ATM Deposits : Free
• Credit Union ATM Withdrawals : $0.60
• INTERAC ATM Withdrawals – within Canada : $0.60
• US ATM Withdrawals : $2.50
• International ATM Withdrawals : $5.00
• INTERAC Direct Payments : $0.60
• Bill Payment (On-line or Touchtone) : $0.50
• ATM Card Replacement – Mishandling : $5.00

Administration Fees

• Achieva Direct (automatic savings deposits from another institution) : Free
• Achieve Direct Deposit (deposit of payroll or government cheques) : Free
• NSF Charge : $30.00
• Chargeback : $5.00

I have now cancelled my Canada Savings Bond which was earning 3% and will be transfering the funds over into my new account once the setup is completed.
